What you can expect from our Bespoke Tailoring Service

We work with you to pinpoint your needs so that together we can select the best fabric and garment styling details for your requirements.

We record all of your measurements while we cast a keen eye over your figuration and posture to make certain that your pattern compliments your figure.

After creating your very own bespoke pattern in our workrooms at 7 Sackville Street (that we retain and use in your future orders) we strike the pieces onto cloth and cut them to give to our longtime, london-based coat and trouser makers.

This is what we call a “shell” fitting, it is just for us to refine adjustments to your pattern to ensure fit and balance for the next stage.

Here is where you really see your garments come to life. They will be closer to your figure and are complete with facings, linings and pockets – giving you a better idea of the finished look to come.

This is our opportunity to ensure that all of us are happy with your new handmade garments before you take them home.

With Terry it is altogether less formal: he plants the seed of an idea in the mind much in the manner that Leonardo DiCaprio did in the sci-fi film Inception, and then allows one to believe that the notion was all one’s own and that he is merely happy to help as an amanuensis, a sort of sartorial midwife.
